Welcome to my photo blog.

I am Cassandra Marie.  Mostly I go by Cassie.  However, over the years I have earned a number of nicknames that seem to fit my personality. 

This blog is about embracing my identity and paying tribute to the one nickname that has “stuck” with me no matter where I find myself in this life. Even after moving thousands of miles from my friends and family, those around me have discovered the name I can’t seem to escape… Sassy Cassie.

I hail from Minnesota and now call Washington DC home.

I started this blog so that friends and family could keep up with my life…not through words and phone-calls, but through photos and videos.

I find it’s a great way to share my life with everyone. I hope you find it as entertaining as I do! :o)
